Hostel Facilities at CNCI, Kolkata

Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI) , Kolkata offers dedicated hostel facilities for both doctors and nurses, ensuring comfortable and convenient accommodation for its residents. The hostels are designed to cater to the needs of both junior and senior staff, with options for shared and individual rooms.

Doctors' Hostel

Location and Accommodation:

  • The Doctor’s Hostel is available at CNCI's Second Campus and Salt Lake Housing Complex.
  • The R-2 Building provides 36 One BHK rooms exclusively for Senior Resident Doctors.
  • The R-4 Building contains 10 rooms on a double/triple sharing basis, intended for PG Students and Junior Doctors.

Management:

  • Dr. Durgaprasad Nanda, Assistant Professor, is currently the In-charge of the Doctors' Hostel.

Nursing Hostel

Location and Accommodation:

  • The Nursing Hostel is also situated within the Second Campus and Salt Lake Housing Complex.
  • The R-5 and R-6 Buildings are designated for the Nursing Hostel, accommodating male and female nursing students and staff, respectively.

Management:

  • Miss Moumita Chatterjee,  Social Welfare Officer, is currently the Warden of the Nursing Hostel.

Hostel Facilities

  • All rooms within the hostels are semi-furnished, providing essential amenities to ensure a comfortable living environment for the residents.
  • The accommodation is designed to foster a sense of community and support amongst the residents, with shared living arrangements promoting interactions and collaborations.
